We had a situation with an out of town solar company that took our money and won’t give it back, living with a generator for months and months whilst waiting for solar with two babies was very stressful.
In an emergency when we realized we had been ripped off I called Mark desperate for help, support and most of all POWER. 
Mark was amazing and made time for a meeting instantly, and had a system In mind and ready to go within weeks.
 The team came to the property to assess the needs and were very professional and sympathetic of our terrible situation.
Within weeks the team were back at the property and the power was on with not one issue, I cannot praise them any more to everyone we talk too. Everything is running off the solar and it’s better that we ever expected, as we are learning to use the system Mark and Nick have gone above and beyond to support us.

Nick and Luke from Ballarat Solar panels/Effective Electrical have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Throughout the 2 years I was in contact with them for our new build they were quick to reply to my lengthy questions and provided the time that was needed to feel confident in their service.
Their workers installed an off-grid system at our new build in Castlemaine. Very Professional!!!

We’re so happy with our big, new off-grid installation from Nick and his team at Effective/Ballarat Solar.

The project was a sizeable undertaking; Effective gave us a very competitive quote.
It involved three roofs, 39 panels, 2 inverters, trenching, machinery pad with a steel, weatherproof, secure walk-in battery/inverter/control board and a mine-rated generator.
It was all completed at a remote site in seven calendar days.

I haven’t seen or heard of a crew of sparkies working with the quality and pace of the guys we had here last fortnight. We’re on a Sanctuary, where plastic/industrial waste and litter is a significant threat and our site was left immaculate.

The team comprises more than a dozen friendly and polite crew, a credit to the business they work for.

We expected a teething period, ironing-out bugs in the system. However the first few weeks of service have been a dream…and we’re in the middle of winter!

I highly recommend this business and received no compensation for my review. Check my review history; I’m blunt and honest.

After being left in the cold with my wife & 2 babies as we have no mains power & lived off a generator for several months due to being caught up in a shonky solar mob from Melbourne & losing 10’s of thousands of dollars, we approached Mark who completely understood our situation & we could not be more greatful for Marks kindness & professionalism, within a couple of weeks Mark & his team had a beautiful system up & running 4 us which has absolutely changed our lifes! Had 26 panels installed in May. The installing team were unbelivable. Team of four guys worked flat out all day and were very professional and courteous. Their workmanship was very detailed and they didn’t leave any mess (a bit unusal for tradies) A big thank you guys. After sales service was also prompt. Just had an 8kw off grid systerm installed. The service and accessibility to staff before, during and after installation has been second to none.
I contacted a number of companies and received NO reply. These guys answered everything asked.
